Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
The Breeders Elite Incentive was founded in Dewberry, Alberta, Canada in the fall of 2020. The realization was that there is a better way to market barrel horses & prospects without breaking the bank. There are great stallions that are not enrolled incentives and there are breeders who do not own stallions. This is where nominating "breeder first" was introduced and a new incentive format was created. The Breeders Elite was developed for a transparent more effective platform to market the barrel horse breeders' whole program. The Breeders Elite is a program with less limitations that brings out new "Magic Crosses" every year. It is important for the future of the industry that incentives allow diversified genetics while still keeping the horse incentive eligible.

The American Breeders Elite is an incentive that provides breeders and stallion owners flexibility each year to suite their ever-evolving breeding programs. The breeders are the backbone of the industry, it is time to give them the recognition while providing increased demand for their entire program.
The present barrel horse industry is more competitive than it has ever been. Buyers are seeking horses eligible for "high payout incentives". With the cost of raising horses, marketing stallions and going down the road, affordability is key.
Offering a program with an annual high payout race for competitors,
whole herd coverage with a low annual investment for breeders & stallion owners, NO foal nomination fees, recognition for all our breeders and their stallions. After four successful years of growth in Canada, and one year under our belt in Texas, we developed trust and credibility in the barrel racing industry. We are proud to establish this program in the
cowboy capital of the world, Stephenville, Texas!
Mission Statement
