How It Works
Definition of BREEDER: Owner of mare at time of breeding. Breeder never changes on offspring registration papers.
One "breeder slot" cost is $1500 and is for ALL your past & currently owned mares offspring. Horses that are bred by a "breeder slot holders" do NOT need to be sired by a nominated stallion to be event eligible. Breeder or stallion must be enrolled the same year offspring wish to compete.

Must be a "breeder slot holder" to nominate a stallion.

Each individual stallion nominations are $1500.

"Breeder slot holder" must be shown as owner (or part owner) of stallion on his registration papers. No limit to how many stallions a "breeder slot holder" can nominate. Choose when to nominate your stallion dependent on what offspring he has competing that year that require incentive eligibility by sire.

Nominated stallions themselves are event eligible regardless of their breeder or sire.
As long as a breeder continues to renew breeder slot annually, any stallion they own can be nominated in future years. No waitlist.

All offspring of nominated stallions are incentive eligible, no foal nomination fees.

Event purse comes from annual slot sales, stallion nominations and entry fees and
is distributed as follows into these classes:
60% to Open 4D
20% to Futurity 2D
15% to Derby 2D
5% Youth 3D

Breeder/Stallion Owner Payout
40% of Purse
When you are a "breeder slot holder" and choose to nominate a stallion, you are eligible for both the BREEDER & STALLION OWNER payout on your offspring when they win.
If breeder is enrolled & sire is not, the breeder is awarded the entire breeder/stallion owner payout.
If stallion is enrolled & breeder is not the stallion owner is awarded the entire breeder/stallion owner payout.
If both breeder & sire are enrolled the breeder/stallion owner payout is split equally between them.

Contestant entry fee distribution to breeder & stallion owner payout:
30% of the contestant entry fee is allocated to the breeder & stallion owner payout. This format allows for not only the contestant payout to increase with entries but to also see the breeder/stallion owner payout increase with entries.
Summary
ALL offspring that was bred by "breeder slot holder" or sired by nominated stallion as well as the nominated stallion himself can compete in our annual event for the guaranteed purse​. Lifetime incentive eligibility for offspring born from year breeder or stallion was enrolled. No foal nomination fees.
